Run #3168 by Landslide at Unknown

Run Report

Landslide clearly woke up and chose violence. A modest-sounding 4.2 km with 440 m climb turned into a lung-busting march straight up to Bukit Kukus, with the pack wheezing past the ominously named Jalan Pumpkin — which, frankly, felt less like Halloween fun and more like a slow, sweaty death march. Two bars were planted to regroup the survivors, though after last week’s buzzing frenzy, the pack approached every check like it was a psychological ambush. Trust issues? Absolutely. The climb sorted the men from the boys and the sane. Itchy Bawah, who managed an impressive tactical collapse from front-runner glory to scenic detours at the top of Bukit Jambul. Meanwhile, the descent was a masterclass in controlled panic: steep, slippery, and just sketchy enough that poor Sam was sacrificed first, sent down the slope until he vanished from sight — the official “guinea pig” to confirm it wasn’t another sadistic false trail. Spoiler: it wasn’t, but dignity was lost anyway. In true Penang H3 fashion, the supporting cast stole half the show. The "Club Sweeper" rocked up with a traveling roller bag — yes, luggage — apparently prepared for either a hash or a transvestite dance weekend. Footwear optional, common sense absent. The club hermit, meanwhile, ignored all social norms and conducted his own solo torchlight expedition like some jungle ghost, proving once again that hashing attracts a very special breed of lunatic. Back at the circle, the abuse flowed as freely as the beer. Taliban and Siloban celebrated double birthdays with the usual mix of songs, insults, and liquid punishment. But the real scandal? The epidemic of early starters. Too many eager beavers sneaking off before the whistle of 17:30, only to get schooled by Mini Sausage, who started at the proper time and still wrapped it up within 1.5 hours. Lesson of the day: no need for premature evacuation you animals. Verdict: Brutal climb, sketchy descent, questionable life choices all around. Solid trail from Landslide, but the pack needs discipline (and therapy). On On — and next time, less early birds and more honest suffering together.
